Is there some way to meaningfully increase my damage output? I chug all the potions I can find, and dump as many points into my size and other main stats for my weapon as possible, but I still only do about 5 damage at most to the large rats, who practically two shot me. Am I missing something?
1. Grind. Grind until you have outlevelled damn near everything around you. Grind until the game autokills the rat bandits for you. Grind until you can chug enough potions to cheese the Giant Rats. If you're doing this, upgrade your starting dagger to at least level 5 at the anvil behind the blacksmith, then equip it in your offhand to get an XP boost.
2. You should mostly level size, it's an overpowered stat that trumps every other option most of the time. It directly increases your damage and range, while also levelling all of your stats, so it gives you the best bang for your buck. Any points you don't put into size, put into the stat your weapon scales with. If it's strength, level muscle, if it's intellect, level breasts, if it's dexterity, level legs, etc.
3. Get a weapon that isn't garbage. If you're a strength or intellect build, you can easily get a Blesser and a Pearlescent Fetish respectively just outside town. Start by disregarding the guard's advice entirely by exiting town. Take the dirt road, going left once you encounter the closed gate. At the end of the dirt road, when you've officially passed the broken wall, take a right into the forest area, where you'll probably see a wooden staff with a pearl on the top. That's the Fetish, and if you're an int build, it will carry you through the game. If you're here for the Blesser, just keep going into the woods, hugging the village wall. While you're here, open the gate. Near a pile of boxes and a small group of tall grass, the sword (Blesser) will have a red hilt and be diagonally stuck in the dirt. Pull it out and you've got a decent strength weapon - not the best in the game but better than the shite dagger you start with, if only because it actually scales with something to a meaningful degree and doesn't require you to be within arm's reach of the enemy to actually hit them. DON'T pull out the big sword in the stone, it'll crash the game with an assertion error. If you're a dex build, you're shit outta luck, just use either of those weapons until you can cheese the Giant Rat (ON FLOOR 5 OR HIGHER) with potion spam, then finish the Blacksmith's key quest by backing out of the dungeon, going to the first floor, and opening the first door on the left to save the guy inside. Once you've done that, go back outside the dungeon to the blacksmith's shop, press Q to cycle the options and press E to talk to the smith, and he'll give you a Halberd called the Bard's Beak that has B Dexterity scaling and a pretty decent ability.
Lo llevo jugando desde la 0.5.2 y me está encantando todo, un juego de 10. La pregunta sería ¿alguna forma de hacer crecer a las que me siguen permanentemente de forma eficaz?
When you go out of town there is only one way to get past the wall. Follow the path down the hill and turn left. Once your past the wall you'll need to leave the path and turn right. Follow the outside of the wall all the way and you'll see a cave. Make sure you activate the switch where the closed gate is just before the cave to open a shortcut back to town.
Hi! I started the game recently and very much liked it, I have no words better than, well done on all the content, small stuff and battle !
However I got a few questions here about things I am curious on or just stuff that I do not understand properly/may be buged.
1 : I seems to have some issue with skills(spells) and I can't use everything(I can use right click, left click and those that are on the modifiable shortcuts), though all the ctrl + X I can't, also I wanted to try passive battle mode but had camera issue, and feels like I could not press any spells (1,2,3 etc) though I have to try a bit more before saying it doesn't work properly/bug.
2 : Do you intend to add more choices on personnalizations such as"Human likes" bones and shapes for example, only having hear and tail. Wich I doupt you would, concidering your furry style but I had to ask still since I am less of a fan of high furry stuff( I still really like the global game and the difficulties so it does not matter too much).
Thanks a lot for the game and have a great day ! =^-^=
1. Yeah, the passive battle mode is kinda buggy right now, just don't enable it yet
2. https://trello.com/b/y6wrjnbj/growthrpg-v054 (changelog) scroll to the 'Body parts to add' section. From what you can see, there's no guarantee that there will be a human part added in the near future.
If you have any more questions, I'll help you if possible. ^^
Sr for the delay, first u need to be more bigger (yes, this applies to breast, muscle, etc.), but using this increase the enemy stats and also decrease your stats so be careful. If u dont mind, we can go deeper into this on Discord. Mine is Wilson#8451
That depends on what you have not already done I'd like help on accessing the farm area myself but I can't complete the quest for the poison seller I get to the point I need to use the dank potion but it stays at 3 uses so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Could you maybe help? As for other things to do you could unlock other companions you haven't gotten or try to farm exp to grow your character more sorry I can't give too many suggestions the game as you know is not finished and is constantly updated at the end of the month with a new version
The starting broken sword gives an XP boost for every perk you unlock via equipment leveling. Wielding two of them stacks the XP boost. That's probably the most effective boost to grinding in terms of equipment. Tho you won't be able to fully unlock those bonuses until late game.
For early game equipment, armor is useful for boosting your effective health, tho you automatically unequip the armor as you grow the relevant body part. Upgrading armor increases how much you can grow before the armor auto unequips.
Honestly, companions have a much more significant impact on battle effectiveness than equipment does.
is there a way to respec abilities if you decide you didn't want a passive but you already saved after selecting it? like, the abilities in the ability screen, not the ones in the combat menu
As I understand it, this is a bug in Engreal Engine 4 itself. Unfortunately or fortunately, it is fixed on the side of Epic Games, in the new version of the engine. Updating the engine can both fix this crash and create new crashes. Often both at the same time.
In general, that we and developer can only put up with occasional crashes :/
Look the type of weapon tha you are using and the type of stats that you want to use. There is weapons for bust (inteligence), (dextirity and other i dont remeber) legs, (fat and size) weight, muscle (strenght)
I feel I'm at a loss I'm trying to complete the quest growing pains for Beth to kill the roots but every time I get the dank potions from the poison seller if I drink 1 it doesn't reduce the ammount and stays at 3 so thus I can't get the herbicide needed to unlock the farm which I'd like to do can I have somr help on what I could do to fix this?
Okay can you please tell me then how i'm to complete the poison sellers quest to get the herbicide then as I want to unlock Beht's farm to get more superior ability crystals. As I said in my post when I drink the dank potion the poison seller gives me it stays at 3 in my inventory but the journal only updated on the first 2 potions after using all 3 up so what do I do?
Could I please have help with getting the poison needed to clear the roots at Beth's farm? I saved her husband Markus and talked to the poison salesman but all he said was I'd have to do something for him. Also could I have a list of any new weapons all I fond was the scythe near Markus so far.
Im not gonna spoil a lot for suprise, BUT in the town their is another potion shop on the street near the port entrance with the guard. You have to do her 3 quests, then you get 5 Poison Potions.
love this game but god does it perform awful, i get like 20 fps in the fields on highest settings, lowering settings too bare minimum does nothing to help. You would think that Shadows would be the culprit it usually is but in my case reducing shadows does nothing for performance neither does reducing resolution. And usually lowering resolution too as low as possible does help with UE games. It's probably my cpu that is holding the performance back so bad but who knows..
Found a bug regarding the two "side mohawk" hair styles recently added. They don't have the proper hair textures, and the second hair color option doesn't adjust them at all.
I finally got the chance to check out this game I was very pleased with what I found ^^, My general review is the character creator is pretty vast and the fact you can also change your allies appearance is really cool. The growth system works smoothly and the animations for each are a nice touch along with the grow from the beginning option. I really love how everything in the game really does feel tied down to how big or small you may be in game, like being big enough to just stomp on the basic enemies was hilarious. Overall I'm looking forward for more updates!
Now I have just a few questions and possible bugs I may have come across:
-I'm curious if there would be a "reallocate growth points" option for your character like your companions?
-I can't go back to the first floor of the sewers to open the rat door with the key.
-in the smile dungeon, I don't know if it was cause I had a companion with me or not but whenever I had to fight a Slime boss and I'd land the killing blow all characters would fall through the map.
-My strength and weight are 400+, yet I still only do 2 or 4 damage per hit yet my companion (barrel master) will hit for 24-27? I have the milk tank and blesser as equips btw.
-I can't unsheathe the Iatowashi at all, nor can I use any of its abilities. I got it unsheathed used it a few times then it was stuck sheathed.
-is the lewd option only for the sounds the characters make as they grow?
1) you can relocate your points by talking to plush (mini renamon) at the tunnel at the beach. To get to her you'll have to fight Bushido, and she's pretty tough
2) You're sure you aren't selecting Lvl in sewer dungeon? If you select "Enter dungeon" it should start you at first lvl. Otherwise it a bug
3) Check what stats your weapon relies on. Milk tank relies on bust and fat (if I’m not wrong), and blesser on muscle
4) You could unsheathe in only in battle, i believe, by just attacking with it
5) Lewd in options should hide NSFW stuff (nipples. cocks...). Character makes moaning sounds during ego growth (a.i. dick). Right now, it grows way too fast, and if you want to decrease its size go to character customization menu, find "scaling" at the top, and select your size with a slider. I recommend locking it by hitting the checkbox.
Hey thanks for the quick reply this was a great help! I tried the sewers again and it finally let me back to the first after a few resets, But I still couldn't unsheathe it I ran through a lot of battles and it seemed like it wouldn't even respond to the keys I couldn't swing with it normally either. Other then that I noticed when ever you save inside a dungeon and close the game, coming back will drop you in the dungeon near the crystal wall.
I just wanted to report a texture bug with the extra hand detail paints to make your hands different in color or have some color on the plams don't work as they should in version 5.1 and 5.2 the chest ones like the new skull or the heart are similar in that they wrap around to the character's back when they should not this makes me not want to use them but I'd like to if I wanted to make my character a fox but due to these errors I can't bring myself to do so.
Bugs found in 5.2: - Can get locked in the Giant Rat door room if a mimic enemy spawns from the loot within. - Digitrade feet on a player with large size (500+) causes player to fall thru the ground when attempting to step over a wall. - Somehow spawned an invisible wall at the primary entrance to the bandit hideout. I think it was after reloading the game after fighting the bandit boss once. - Rock Sword makes max AP negative. Might be intentional, but the item description only mentions draining enemies of AP, not the user themselves. - Consuming 300+ items at once freezes the game. Consuming 100 items stalls the game for a good 30+ seconds. Substantially moreso for 200 items. - After consuming several hundred items, Level Up menu is slow to open.
The slowdown/freezing from items I suspect to be due to processing each item separately before applying the next item in the batch. Probably want to perform the final stat change calculation before processing any animations or other state changes to speed things up. I suspect the level up slowdown is due to some sort of processing of previously consumed items when the menu is opened.
1. You need special postion from Postion Seller (that new one, from 5.1). But if you haven't talked to Beth beforehand, you probably won't have the needed option in dialog with the seller.
2. If you have old save, you'll probably have to start a new game.
Is the rock blade the rock monsters have still in build 5.2 as a weapon? Been searching the infected farm but can't seem to find it, any help would be greatly welcome
Can't talk to Beth on 5.2, there's only an option to trade with her like the previous version. So the new quest is softlocked for me, dunno how to beat the roots. Any workarounds? I transferred my save from the previous version if it helps.
Try going straight to the farm property and talk to Beth's hubby there. If that doesn't work, then, uh. Well, that just leaves a new game. After all, this game is more about the journey than the goal.
After complete farm quest, you'll be able to plant seeds in the bed. The flowers that grow will yield various loot from metal ore (common seeds) to superior ability chrystal (rare seeds). Also rare seeds can grow into friendly Rock Monster.
so every time i gain a buff from the npc's my camera just kinda breaks and think its moving but is fully stuck in place and refuse's to move till i re-enter the world (5.2)
Edit: it happens way more often on a lot of things not sure why or how but it just happens so now and then and ive got no idea what ceusing it but interacting with npc's hase a chance to break your camera entirly making you have to re-enter the world to fix it
You gain ego after every victory. You gain more based on how big your opponent is. The Beast is really good for grinding some since he gets bigger after every loss. The ego potion just gives you a way to gain ego without fighting.
Beast is a yellow guy under a tree just outside town. You walk up to him, wake him up twice (i.e. speak) and then he'll fight you. If you win, he will grow bigger, and if loose - will reset to original size. After waking him up you can fight him whenever.
I will add, the three or four fightable companions (rat, barrel, and bun) also have that same mechanic (They revert upon recruiting) but yeah, they grow with each win and you can farm them too.
Also Ego potions is so far the only way to increase the Ego of your companions.
theres a pretty big issue with the character creation thing, where if you choose a species, it'll actually chose the species to the left of it, and with the one on the very very left, it'll default to god knows what

Hmm, u need to farm more exp. It's not easy, but I suggest using some commands because it may take a very long time to farm exp.
what commands?
So as it turns out, the answer is as follows:
Okay so turns out, if you're a dex build, there is in fact a small dagger called a Roundel that's hidden inside a tree very close to the Blesser.
You're still gonna want to get that Bard's Beak, but this is probably better than the alternatives in the mean time.

wheres the lich the apothacary asks you to kill? also is it possible to get the mimics gun?
The litch is in the slime cave dungeon out of town, and yes. The gun is a rare drop from either the mimic, or the chimera on the docks.
sorry wheres the slime cave? my blind ass cant find it

I still was looking how to use the special skills in battle like "challenge me" and stuff that is apparently use with shift.

Go through the tower you fought Bunshido in, you'll find the plush there and it'll let you pay to respec your stats and abilities
Can there be an Android version
no its built on unreal engine and is much to demanding for a moblie device any ways
Makes sense but you spelled too wrong
yeah typo
Im a bit confused on what to do because at the start it says i need to get my info from patreob but idk how to do it
Edit: i accidentally downloaded the patreon version oops
I keep getting this error, not sure why

hey is there a guide to this because getting tired to dealing only 2 damage
Look the type of weapon tha you are using and the type of stats that you want to use. There is weapons for bust (inteligence), (dextirity and other i dont remeber) legs, (fat and size) weight, muscle (strenght)
Is currently a way to have sex with anyone in the game?
nope
Is it possible to grow npcs i would love to see camilla the town guard bigger
anyone have a list of every compaion in the game?
thanks
what does all that mean, like that many point each time they level up or there you go thats it. or is it something else?
its how many companion points it cost to have them on your team since normally if im not wrong you only have 6-9 depending on upgrades
how do you get the rock root monster or rock eater companions?
is there a way to run a previous version of the game, or can it only be ran on the newest update?
I feel I'm at a loss I'm trying to complete the quest growing pains for Beth to kill the roots but every time I get the dank potions from the poison seller if I drink 1 it doesn't reduce the ammount and stays at 3 so thus I can't get the herbicide needed to unlock the farm which I'd like to do can I have somr help on what I could do to fix this?
Some potions have certain requirements, like being damaged or at full health, and some can't stack.
I don't know why, but I did. And-and-and-no. There are no special bonuses for lvl 100 . Just standard + x0.2 to XP.
Is there a way to un-lich myself? I saw the vat and thought I was going to get an item, not completely change my character
If you have done the quest to kill the litch fr the potion seller go to her she sells a potion you can buy to return to normal
So how does the ego system work ?
You beat opponents, the ego grows a tiiiiiiiiny bit.
The stronger the opponent, the bigger the gains.
And what does it do ?
Give you more xp the more of it you have, though if you lose once, you lose all of it.
Max ego now affects your naughty bits.
as for me, ego grows too fast. After one hour i have very big one. So i need to scale it to lower position, because it is too big :c
how do I fight the root boss?
Git good.
Find them in dungeons, you'll find one once every 15 levels down.
You can track your root progress in the journal, at the bottom of the page.
suggestion: can u make this a html game if u cant then i wont bother u
love this game but god does it perform awful, i get like 20 fps in the fields on highest settings, lowering settings too bare minimum does nothing to help. probably grass, grass can be another big culprit
when doing the herbicide quest. are there only 3 roots to kill or is there another location i need to clear?
You can track your progress in the journal, at the bottom of the page.
Found a bug regarding the two "side mohawk" hair styles recently added. They don't have the proper hair textures, and the second hair color option doesn't adjust them at all.

Just slapping this down here for a place to keep track of these.
Does anyone knows how to edit companion points to have more then 5?
In ability tree at the very bottom of left column there’s a perk that adds companion points
How can I remove transperent skin of my ch I got after examining the bath in Lich pit
Talk to alchemist in town
It'd be nice if auto-level worked even when you have no allocated levels by somehow remembering your previous ratios.
Bugs found in 5.2:
- Can get locked in the Giant Rat door room if a mimic enemy spawns from the loot within.
Where did you find the rock sword?
Also it's negative max AP was done for balance in a previous patch I believe
The rock sword was loot from the rock monsters around the farm.
Got the same issue with the invisible wall at the entrance bandit but i don't believe i ever fought him before.
Can we have a monster girl which is tiny, but after you do her quest become gigantic, and tries to rival you?
I have a few questions about 5.2 -
1. How do I cut the roots?
2. How do I talk to Beth? (I returned Markus and she still says trade
3. Where's the farm location at?
1. You need special postion from Postion Seller (that new one, from 5.1). But if you haven't talked to Beth beforehand, you probably won't have the needed option in dialog with the seller.
2. If you have old save, you'll probably have to start a new game.
3. Where you fight with roots.
Thanks for the info!
which potion Ive done everything and i still cant complete it
thank you
Is the rock blade the rock monsters have still in build 5.2 as a weapon?
Been searching the infected farm but can't seem to find it, any help would be greatly welcome
Try to grow a rock monster from rare seeds. It may have a rock blade in its inventory. Maybe. I'm don't sure.
I've grown one and no, they sadly don't have one in their inventory, maybe just getting it's relationship value high enough will net me one?
Maybe. But probably will not.
Well if anybody figures out how to get it, please share, it's a super fun weapon I love to make part of my build
It's still in, just gotta farm it.
I guess you have to farm it before you finish the farm quest
Can't talk to Beth on 5.2, there's only an option to trade with her like the previous version. So the new quest is softlocked for me, dunno how to beat the roots. Any workarounds?
I transferred my save from the previous version if it helps.
Try going straight to the farm property and talk to Beth's hubby there. If that doesn't work, then, uh. Well, that just leaves a new game. After all, this game is more about the journey than the goal.
Why do i need "common seed"?
After complete farm quest, you'll be able to plant seeds in the bed. The flowers that grow will yield various loot from metal ore (common seeds) to superior ability chrystal (rare seeds). Also rare seeds can grow into friendly Rock Monster.
so every time i gain a buff from the npc's my camera just kinda breaks and think its moving but is fully stuck in place and refuse's to move till i re-enter the world (5.2)
Edit: it happens way more often on a lot of things not sure why or how but it just happens so now and then and ive got no idea what ceusing it but interacting with npc's hase a chance to break your camera entirly making you have to re-enter the world to fix it
You have to either re-enter the world or get into a fight, then it's fixed.
Open inventory - then character and it will fix
I've fixed that by talking to the NPC again. Anything that makes the camera change outside of player control seems to fix it.
is ego always active or do i need the ego potion?
You gain ego after every victory. You gain more based on how big your opponent is. The Beast is really good for grinding some since he gets bigger after every loss. The ego potion just gives you a way to gain ego without fighting.
how do you fight the beast?
