If you have more than one piece you can give her all of them at once. If you're looking for a faster way to get them I haven't found it yet... You can get them in chests, or from mobs.
It would be nice if it was all one dungeon but say every 10 floors, or just simply a random chance per floor in any dungeon. Meaning you just need to do any dungeon and any progress works you to the goal of making the tree grow? I've gotten the sewer one and the slime dungeon one. Eventually I'll get the rest lol
I sadly have a slight problem I'm playing the public version of 0.4.6a I killed the Lich and delved deeper in the dungeon but now I can't go to the very start to enter the vat to turn into a lich myself anymore selecting enter dungeon just puts me at floor 8 not floor 1 so I'm not sure what to do. Also can I get some help with the Lime slime follower they don't get EXP like other followers do does this mean I have to give them potions to increase their stats?
If I recall correctly in v4.5 you were able to enter the dungeon on floor 1 and access a vat even though it wasn't the original room with the Lich... Now in 4.7 I too have the same problem and cannot become a Lich.
Yes, the slime follower seems to be completely dependent on growth potions to grow as they really enjoy them. She seems to gain 5 levels in that attribute per potion. Her color also becomes dependent on what potions you've given her, similar to those inside the dungeon. You can give them to her when she isn't a follower or from your inventory menu by selecting her. A neat mechanic indeed! Would be nice if she gained more levels than that but I suppose potions come quick. It's a tad misleading when she grows 30 (+5 permanent) per potion at first then she loses it all after a battle.
I might have asked this before but can I get ideas on how to get lots of experience as sadly it gets harder to gain alot of growth points to level up with I've been trying the Bandit boss as someone suggested but is there other options I don't know of? Any help would be nice
XP has changed a couple times throughout the versions. However, it seems to be a bit better in the latest version. I just go into dungeons and keep going up levels and the enemies and bosses keep giving more and more experience.
Edit: The grass behind the wall near the sword in the rock seems to be endlessly broken in terms of experience... Ha. Scales with your level and you gain thousands of exp per fight, but the battles are tough.
This game is super promising so far, with way more content than I thought included and more. Although there are a lot of criticisms I do wish to give.
The game is awful with glitches. There are times where the game crashed because I just pressed a button on the menu. Sometimes it is because I walked somewhere. It just happens at random, especially in the hub world.
Presentation is very iffy. I've played the game on max settings and it still doesn't look the best. I'm not sure exactly what it is besides the game simply not being finished, but it is worth bringing up
Balancing in the game is very weird. Like, very weird. It feels like there's very few in-between enemies from "small level one" to "god themselves". Not only that, but once you reach a certain size and you can one shot enemies, it is very easy to grind for potions and just take on any enemy in the game.
Overall, the game is very good and packed with content, but I'd like these things to be changed as it gets updated. Especially the crashing because I've had a time where the game literally wouldn't start for hours.

How do you save the game? When I pressed E on the save star, it says it saves. But when I go back to the main menu using escape and try to go back in, the save file says it was the same from 4 days ago. I can't get it to save my new progress.
That's exactly how you save. Have you been able to save any progress since first making a character? Did you extract the game from the zip or are you playing it from the downloaded folder? Is the folder you extracted it into a read-only some how?
1. Get your save file (usually save0.sav from folders) 2. Open any editing tool (online tool like www.saveeditonline.com works fine) 3. Edit any value you see fit. (Exp, item count, etc., experiment yourself) 4. Download it and replace your save file. 5. You are done. Remember to copy original save file somewhere safe in case any coruption occurs to start again fresh.
Not totally sure. I would first download a fresh version from Itch and extract into a folder. Then try to launch that new .exe. It could be your antivirus is blocking it? Maybe it had crashed or is still trying to load and you need to end the process in task manager. I assume you're on a laptop due to the small resolution and if you have a dedicated GPU make sure to enable it and disable your IGPU as it may have issues switching back and forth for this.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'this folder'. The main directory once you extract should look like this. If it's already gone from a fresh install than I'd assume one of your anti virus programs/firewall is automatically quarantining it. Otherwise, look in your task manger for "Growth RPG" and if you see one, end task it. Try launching the game again.
I started to play v4.7 just a few days ago and was wondering what you meant by this comment. Then weird things happened where stuff would just blow up... Now it makes sense, and saves me time opening everything! I hope we get different sized objects that take different amounts of size/weight to break so you get a sense of progression.
I wish there was an option at least to make game treat giga sized character in scale instead of "realistic", so his/her movements will be as fast as on the lightest/smallest build (but with same thum-thums and foot prints ofc), don't really like that character walks SUPER slow whne grows very big and you have to custom scale it down so that A to B way doesn't take hours even though entire map is literally smaller than his/her foot or toe.
In general I'd prefer to fully run/sprint and jump around instead of only jump in context places.
Also would be cool to be able to grow or shrink while on travels. Would be cool to be able to shrink smaller than current smallest-0 height.
I always thought it was weird that you 'got slower' as you got bigger. That's understandable somewhat if you increase all stats other than size, but once you start increasing size you should begin to move back to normal speed.
The shrinking aspect is kind of interesting and opens an entirely new mechanic. I don't believe it should be able to be done normally, but perhaps a specific weapon or an attribute added to pieces of armor to let you do it. Considering the entire point of the game is to grow. However, it would be interesting if you say shrunk size, all other stats grow, or shrink fat and it distributes to breasts, muscles, legs etc... This would be temporary as it's an ability not a redistribution.
OR, perhaps there are areas not only locked behind being strong enough, tall enough, heavy enough, but rather you need to be small enough to fit through a hole in the wall(any stat too big), or under a ceiling(size-too tall), or climb up a tight area(muscle-too bulky). This could either access reward rooms or just other parts of the dungeons that just add extra charm.
This also could add a new possibility that there could be random buffs/debuffs around the map like traps. Perhaps you'll be lucky and get a size buff and gain 50 size! However, its not a blessing as now you can't fit through that small room to get the loot inside! The reverse is true, something that shrinks you and now you can't get through that fence.
I do believe the game needs to be rebalanced. I seem to always turn down the scaling on my stats as you just outgrow everything so fast. It may be better for gameplay sake to have a 'maximum' size (this would fix your grow too big move too slow issue). It doesn't have to be limited for those who wish to go bigger, but it would make the gameplay aspect better. I almost wonder if growth should be not linear as 1pt is 1pt of growth, but maybe it takes 10pts or 25pts of growth to get 1 level of growth to make growing more visual at the time. The rebalance would definitely let shrinking play into the game as a mechanic much better. -- Just thought of it, maybe dungeons need to scale with the player as you go deeper. That's one of the biggest problems. Perhaps each floor should be bigger by say 1%, same with the enemies so you can't just squish them by default.
No size games unfortunately, as it's a unique genre. Mostly only expansion type games. This game on it's own is very unique, albeit I'd like a human versions.
You could play text adventure games that rely on growth. Some reflect your current size.
Oh, thus I know. There were couple on Giantess City forum.
Also The Essence of Gender is an awesome game, especially if you hack money and level with save editor (like here, hehe). You play as human and can grow or shrink, also can gain fat or muscles. Though it is very rough, rougher and more complicated than this great game. And I believe it is semi abandoned too unfortunately.
use saveeditonline com to edit stats, find weapon or level of your char or ability points number, try to find similar when you open save through that site (usually it starts with "Level" or "Value"), you can level up or change something to reupload save file and make sure you got it right.
Honestly don't know. Maybe try experimenting . Alternatively just get yourself couple of them, then go to saveedit com or whatever and try to decipher which value is for milk jug qaunity (i wish game just had official cheats/debug)
I'm sorry to ask this to a very late comment but how exactly does this work and what exactly do I change as I'm presented with a couple pages of what seems to do the exact same thing and I can't seem to really add any of the items listed below. I might just be plane stupid
Can you summon more then one item at once? I really dont want to stay here for 1h or 2 just to get 1000 Ability Crystals Cuz i havent found a good way to do this

I've only ever used the free version but the latest version, v4.7 is the most stable that's been out in months. The last versions that were this stable were around v3.9-4.3. The only crashes that I get are from massive characters or large amounts of growth. v4.8 should have even more stability patches.
Yeah that's a painful error that only seemed to pop up for me in v4.4 AND v4.5. The game has been updated twice and is now v4.7. I would strongly update first. My saves are also from v4.4 and I took them with and I almost never have that crash anymore unless there are massive characters or growth. In v4.4 and v4.5 having a single save only helped prevent that error for some reason but I currently have 3 saves.
The gusts of winds are FAT stat checked. Games buggy and doesn't tell you the requirement most of the time... if you can't get through just carry on. At this point I don't think there's 'good' stuff behind these stat check doors.
Also, since I forgot to mention the stat checks get higher and higher as you progress through dungeon floors. So you may have been able to get through some light wind or a weak planks but they eventually get harder to get through and will not be able to pass them anymore. It would be nice if there were various images (such as rotten wood, strong wood, reinforced wood, etc) for these stat checks so you know instantly what levels you need to be (and for it to tell you). This is where potions would be super helpful in a pinch. Balancing is needed, but I digress.
Personally I just like to keep progressing through the floors since loot and enemy drops seem to get better. Loot and XP has been funky from the last few patches as they seem to be going back and forth with too much or too little.
Also, you wouldn't happen to know what or where this "Mad Chef" character is would you? I've seen them referenced a few times in this comment area, but I haven't seen them...
I think he's just one of the random bounties you can get from the board in the town. I had found him originally in the dungeon thats straight in front of the town past the wall. I stopped going after those bounties since they were predictable and only gave like $50. They usually spawn on the first floor at the start. Haven't gone after them since v3.9.
Okay, more body parts would be iffy, ourside of customization menu, so what did you have in mind specifically for something that can grow that isn't covered?
Currently didn't see anything on that, plus with the character customization the way it is, probably far down the line.
The last one was noted in suggestions so it seems to be considered to some extent, though seems to be a ways off.
The only thing I'm interested in seeing being able to grow is the stomach. Currently, it's only possible to resize it through the customisation menu.
Another idea I consider curious is splitting muscles into different groups, so they can change independently; though I'm not sure how exactly to approach designing that.
Making the growth function non-linear sounds like something to investigate too. Make the initial growth, needed to consistently beat enemies, affect the model just a little, so we don't look completely ludicrous at small levels.
Stomach sounds like something Fat should cover, and I wouldn't mind seeing a few costmetic growths, or being grown by some slimes, and such and I do like the hyper growth of some elemnts.
Also legs sorta effects the leg muscles and muscles effect the upper body, with bust effecting the pecks.
So I was wondering what muscle groups aren't being represented here.
And I don't mind a bit of ludicriousness, as the scaling and balacing your stats should be what you use to end with a balanced look.

I confirm. "should" is not "will". Got the <<Assertion failed: GetFName() == NAME_None>> error fighting the Giant rat outside. (But it did not crash with the barrel master this time)
Getting this error in the newest version, when I try to re-enter the dungeon after being knocked out of it for the first time. Tried testing if it was the copy and paste function, and my character functioned well, UNTIL I finished off, then it started crashing again.
Hey, since this is a p*rn game(sorta) do you guys think the devs should add in some sexy moves for fighting? I think it would make the experience 100 times better! What ideas do you think they should add for s*x stuff?
I'm just curious how the devs would resolve the issue of animating sex between characters with huge size differences, like making them align properly and whatnot (besides just forcing them to match one another before the anim begins)
Love the content so far, but game gets pretty unplayable once you get your size stat up pretty high. Mostly just nagivation around the overworld is pretty rough, and navigation within dungeons is impossible. Changing the scaling of size also messes with hitboxes on your attacks, so it's best to keep the multiplier at 1, not to mention it takes away from the whole fantasy of being a giant. Any chance we could get a camera mode adjustment that puts the camera at the ground level so we can still see where we're going? Would also be cool to be able to look up and see just how large you are, towering over the camera. Camera clipping might be a bit tricky, iirc that was the reason it was changed in the first place.
Not just the camera, all the maps need to be reworked for this because when you reach a very high level (5000+), the bosses get so big that you either can't hit them or they are bigger than the arena and you can't see anything.
I basically play the game with the size multiplier turned off because I get kicked out of the caves.
I would like to post a current exploit I found in version 4.6. A dup bug. No clue where else to post this.
In the current public version, when ever using right click in a follower to move the item to your inventory, or to consume the item, the item isn't being removed from the follower's inventory, leading to a very easy method of duplicating any item or endlessly using any potion effect. While it would be a fun cheat, it's still an exploit.
A similar dup bug exists currently in anvils, where if you right click any item in the anvil, you can draw from your inventory more of that item, even if that item has been exhausted from your inventory, you can still insert more of that item, such as salvage.
my crash report says it's looking for "VtuneApi32e.dll" but it doesn't exist is there a way to fix that. I also get the whole crash error of "assertion failed, primitive has already been added to the scene" whenever I open the game so i can't even play :(
It's in that valley made by the sword. There's a Root with Nail in most every dungeon, Sewers at either Fl30 or 45 I forgot exactly which, Lich Dungeon at 30, Church Dungeon at 15, and there's a second Root at Crystal/Lizard dungeon at 30
There's one for each dungeon BUT the cardboard one I believe, just keep going down the floors and explore any in the multiplicative of 5 (i.e. 15, 20, etc)
Most of them you have to defeat them in combat to unlock them
Giant rat (got to defeat the giant rat in the sewer to unlock)
Lime Slime ( got to find a lime slime in the cave east of town and give them a potion and they can be found outside once you leave, will be the only friendly one in the cave but randomly spawns
Barrel Master: Tip over the big barrel by the gate
Chimera: Found down by the docks
Raving Fan: Defeat their former boss (can easily be found when looking for the left arm)
From what I got, it happens because an Object misses a proper name. In this case, I'll dare say it's because the game can't handle more than the save0 file at once.

Maybe. It's a little rickety at the moment. I've found two nails in roots but nothing changed. Maybe the buff gets bigger? Not really sure.

can you add just "arm thickness" straight up to the arm tab pwetty pwease (my character's arms look too skinny and its making me sad)

I haven't had those errors before but you can try deleting the UnrealEngine folders in your Appdata directory.
Apparently if you delete "Save0" this stops happening.
A few others I noticed were certains abilitys of certain weapons crashing the game (something like getName=error or something )
But that's kinda it. Great game

i just use cheat engine to give me a bazillion exp after i've done being serious with the game

The problem is there no Growth rpg.exe in this folder, my antivirus asked me and i allowed, and the game work before, stop in ver. 4.6

No size games unfortunately, as it's a unique genre. Mostly only expansion type games. This game on it's own is very unique, albeit I'd like a human versions.

Also The Essence of Gender is an awesome game, especially if you hack money and level with save editor (like here, hehe). You play as human and can grow or shrink, also can gain fat or muscles. Though it is very rough, rougher and more complicated than this great game. And I believe it is semi abandoned too unfortunately.

use saveeditonline com to edit stats, find weapon or level of your char or ability points number, try to find similar when you open save through that site (usually it starts with "Level" or "Value"), you can level up or change something to reupload save file and make sure you got it right.

Honestly don't know. Maybe try experimenting . Alternatively just get yourself couple of them, then go to saveedit com or whatever and try to decipher which value is for milk jug qaunity (i wish game just had official cheats/debug)

That's all I have for now.
I've only ever used the free version but the latest version, v4.7 is the most stable that's been out in months. The last versions that were this stable were around v3.9-4.3. The only crashes that I get are from massive characters or large amounts of growth. v4.8 should have even more stability patches.
Its way more stable in 4.8, but will still occasionally happens. I think I figured out what is causing it though, hopefully it should be gone in 4.9

That error always pops-up if you own more than one save file.
Yep, also you have to remove the save files that are from anything besides Save0, cause Saveslot 1 and 2 will cause crashes.
Also add onto the fact, your on version 4.5, and your trying to play 4.4 versions of the game that might be causing your major issues.
Yeah that's a painful error that only seemed to pop up for me in v4.4 AND v4.5. The game has been updated twice and is now v4.7. I would strongly update first. My saves are also from v4.4 and I took them with and I almost never have that crash anymore unless there are massive characters or growth. In v4.4 and v4.5 having a single save only helped prevent that error for some reason but I currently have 3 saves.
Okay, am I missing something somewhere in this game? How do you get past the gusts of wind that bounce you back
The gusts of winds are FAT stat checked. Games buggy and doesn't tell you the requirement most of the time... if you can't get through just carry on. At this point I don't think there's 'good' stuff behind these stat check doors.
Ah, alright, wish there was something to let me know, I was wondering why some of the enemies could get through, but I couldn't...
Also, since I forgot to mention the stat checks get higher and higher as you progress through dungeon floors. So you may have been able to get through some light wind or a weak planks but they eventually get harder to get through and will not be able to pass them anymore. It would be nice if there were various images (such as rotten wood, strong wood, reinforced wood, etc) for these stat checks so you know instantly what levels you need to be (and for it to tell you). This is where potions would be super helpful in a pinch. Balancing is needed, but I digress.
Personally I just like to keep progressing through the floors since loot and enemy drops seem to get better. Loot and XP has been funky from the last few patches as they seem to be going back and forth with too much or too little.

Also, you wouldn't happen to know what or where this "Mad Chef" character is would you? I've seen them referenced a few times in this comment area, but I haven't seen them...
I think he's just one of the random bounties you can get from the board in the town. I had found him originally in the dungeon thats straight in front of the town past the wall. I stopped going after those bounties since they were predictable and only gave like $50. They usually spawn on the first floor at the start. Haven't gone after them since v3.9.

Okay, more body parts would be iffy, ourside of customization menu, so what did you have in mind specifically for something that can grow that isn't covered?
Currently didn't see anything on that, plus with the character customization the way it is, probably far down the line.
The last one was noted in suggestions so it seems to be considered to some extent, though seems to be a ways off.
The only thing I'm interested in seeing being able to grow is the stomach. Currently, it's only possible to resize it through the customisation menu.
Another idea I consider curious is splitting muscles into different groups, so they can change independently; though I'm not sure how exactly to approach designing that.
Making the growth function non-linear sounds like something to investigate too. Make the initial growth, needed to consistently beat enemies, affect the model just a little, so we don't look completely ludicrous at small levels.
Stomach sounds like something Fat should cover, and I wouldn't mind seeing a few costmetic growths, or being grown by some slimes, and such and I do like the hyper growth of some elemnts.
Also legs sorta effects the leg muscles and muscles effect the upper body, with bust effecting the pecks.
So I was wondering what muscle groups aren't being represented here.
And I don't mind a bit of ludicriousness, as the scaling and balacing your stats should be what you use to end with a balanced look.

Just in case : It's possible that specific error pops-up because you own more than one save file.

Hey, since this is a p*rn game(sorta) do you guys think the devs should add in some sexy moves for fighting? I think it would make the experience 100 times better! What ideas do you think they should add for s*x stuff?
I'm just curious how the devs would resolve the issue of animating sex between characters with huge size differences, like making them align properly and whatnot (besides just forcing them to match one another before the anim begins)
Love the content so far, but game gets pretty unplayable once you get your size stat up pretty high. Mostly just nagivation around the overworld is pretty rough, and navigation within dungeons is impossible. Changing the scaling of size also messes with hitboxes on your attacks, so it's best to keep the multiplier at 1, not to mention it takes away from the whole fantasy of being a giant. Any chance we could get a camera mode adjustment that puts the camera at the ground level so we can still see where we're going? Would also be cool to be able to look up and see just how large you are, towering over the camera. Camera clipping might be a bit tricky, iirc that was the reason it was changed in the first place.
Not just the camera, all the maps need to be reworked for this because when you reach a very high level (5000+), the bosses get so big that you either can't hit them or they are bigger than the arena and you can't see anything.
I basically play the game with the size multiplier turned off because I get kicked out of the caves.
You know you can still sacrifice used stat points after learning all of the skills, right? That feature exists for a reason.
It doesn't change the fact that stats like height quickly get out of hand.
Also, the sacrifice feature doesn't look too good when you realize that you're still above level 100 even without any stat points left.
Lulu can take the essences off you, but your followers, less so.
So, question:
I know there's a leg armor that increases leg growth, arm cape that increases muscle, and sword that increases size.
Is there a chest item that increases bust growth, and a torso item that increases fat?
There is a wand to increase bust.
I would like to post a current exploit I found in version 4.6. A dup bug. No clue where else to post this.
In the current public version, when ever using right click in a follower to move the item to your inventory, or to consume the item, the item isn't being removed from the follower's inventory, leading to a very easy method of duplicating any item or endlessly using any potion effect. While it would be a fun cheat, it's still an exploit.
A similar dup bug exists currently in anvils, where if you right click any item in the anvil, you can draw from your inventory more of that item, even if that item has been exhausted from your inventory, you can still insert more of that item, such as salvage.

my crash report says it's looking for "VtuneApi32e.dll" but it doesn't exist is there a way to fix that. I also get the whole crash error of "assertion failed, primitive has already been added to the scene" whenever I open the game so i can't even play :(

It's in that valley made by the sword. There's a Root with Nail in most every dungeon, Sewers at either Fl30 or 45 I forgot exactly which, Lich Dungeon at 30, Church Dungeon at 15, and there's a second Root at Crystal/Lizard dungeon at 30

I've found atleast five so far.
Most of them you have to defeat them in combat to unlock them
Giant rat (got to defeat the giant rat in the sewer to unlock)
Lime Slime ( got to find a lime slime in the cave east of town and give them a potion and they can be found outside once you leave, will be the only friendly one in the cave but randomly spawns
Barrel Master: Tip over the big barrel by the gate
Chimera: Found down by the docks
Raving Fan: Defeat their former boss (can easily be found when looking for the left arm)
Concerning the Raving Fan. I think it's important to point out that the more you beat their boss, the bigger their boss becomes.

Just beat the Giant Rat once. It drops automatically when you do.

Keep getting this error message and it crashes the game, I did enable the crash fix in settings and I it still crashes

From what I got, it happens because an Object misses a proper name. In this case, I'll dare say it's because the game can't handle more than the save0 file at once.
so because I wanted a new save, the game now crashes?
Yup. As far as I get it, it crashes shortly after charging or saving a save file when there's more than one.
