I've only ever used the free version but the latest version, v4.7 is the most stable that's been out in months. The last versions that were this stable were around v3.9-4.3. The only crashes that I get are from massive characters or large amounts of growth. v4.8 should have even more stability patches.
Yeah that's a painful error that only seemed to pop up for me in v4.4 AND v4.5. The game has been updated twice and is now v4.7. I would strongly update first. My saves are also from v4.4 and I took them with and I almost never have that crash anymore unless there are massive characters or growth. In v4.4 and v4.5 having a single save only helped prevent that error for some reason but I currently have 3 saves.
The gusts of winds are FAT stat checked. Games buggy and doesn't tell you the requirement most of the time... if you can't get through just carry on. At this point I don't think there's 'good' stuff behind these stat check doors.
Also, since I forgot to mention the stat checks get higher and higher as you progress through dungeon floors. So you may have been able to get through some light wind or a weak planks but they eventually get harder to get through and will not be able to pass them anymore. It would be nice if there were various images (such as rotten wood, strong wood, reinforced wood, etc) for these stat checks so you know instantly what levels you need to be (and for it to tell you). This is where potions would be super helpful in a pinch. Balancing is needed, but I digress.
Personally I just like to keep progressing through the floors since loot and enemy drops seem to get better. Loot and XP has been funky from the last few patches as they seem to be going back and forth with too much or too little.
Also, you wouldn't happen to know what or where this "Mad Chef" character is would you? I've seen them referenced a few times in this comment area, but I haven't seen them...
I think he's just one of the random bounties you can get from the board in the town. I had found him originally in the dungeon thats straight in front of the town past the wall. I stopped going after those bounties since they were predictable and only gave like $50. They usually spawn on the first floor at the start. Haven't gone after them since v3.9.
Okay, more body parts would be iffy, ourside of customization menu, so what did you have in mind specifically for something that can grow that isn't covered?
Currently didn't see anything on that, plus with the character customization the way it is, probably far down the line.
The last one was noted in suggestions so it seems to be considered to some extent, though seems to be a ways off.
The only thing I'm interested in seeing being able to grow is the stomach. Currently, it's only possible to resize it through the customisation menu.
Another idea I consider curious is splitting muscles into different groups, so they can change independently; though I'm not sure how exactly to approach designing that.
Making the growth function non-linear sounds like something to investigate too. Make the initial growth, needed to consistently beat enemies, affect the model just a little, so we don't look completely ludicrous at small levels.
Stomach sounds like something Fat should cover, and I wouldn't mind seeing a few costmetic growths, or being grown by some slimes, and such and I do like the hyper growth of some elemnts.
Also legs sorta effects the leg muscles and muscles effect the upper body, with bust effecting the pecks.
So I was wondering what muscle groups aren't being represented here.
And I don't mind a bit of ludicriousness, as the scaling and balacing your stats should be what you use to end with a balanced look.

I confirm. "should" is not "will". Got the <<Assertion failed: GetFName() == NAME_None>> error fighting the Giant rat outside. (But it did not crash with the barrel master this time)
Getting this error in the newest version, when I try to re-enter the dungeon after being knocked out of it for the first time. Tried testing if it was the copy and paste function, and my character functioned well, UNTIL I finished off, then it started crashing again.
Hey, since this is a p*rn game(sorta) do you guys think the devs should add in some sexy moves for fighting? I think it would make the experience 100 times better! What ideas do you think they should add for s*x stuff?
I'm just curious how the devs would resolve the issue of animating sex between characters with huge size differences, like making them align properly and whatnot (besides just forcing them to match one another before the anim begins)
Love the content so far, but game gets pretty unplayable once you get your size stat up pretty high. Mostly just nagivation around the overworld is pretty rough, and navigation within dungeons is impossible. Changing the scaling of size also messes with hitboxes on your attacks, so it's best to keep the multiplier at 1, not to mention it takes away from the whole fantasy of being a giant. Any chance we could get a camera mode adjustment that puts the camera at the ground level so we can still see where we're going? Would also be cool to be able to look up and see just how large you are, towering over the camera. Camera clipping might be a bit tricky, iirc that was the reason it was changed in the first place.
Not just the camera, all the maps need to be reworked for this because when you reach a very high level (5000+), the bosses get so big that you either can't hit them or they are bigger than the arena and you can't see anything.
I basically play the game with the size multiplier turned off because I get kicked out of the caves.
I would like to post a current exploit I found in version 4.6. A dup bug. No clue where else to post this.
In the current public version, when ever using right click in a follower to move the item to your inventory, or to consume the item, the item isn't being removed from the follower's inventory, leading to a very easy method of duplicating any item or endlessly using any potion effect. While it would be a fun cheat, it's still an exploit.
A similar dup bug exists currently in anvils, where if you right click any item in the anvil, you can draw from your inventory more of that item, even if that item has been exhausted from your inventory, you can still insert more of that item, such as salvage.
my crash report says it's looking for "VtuneApi32e.dll" but it doesn't exist is there a way to fix that. I also get the whole crash error of "assertion failed, primitive has already been added to the scene" whenever I open the game so i can't even play :(
It's in that valley made by the sword. There's a Root with Nail in most every dungeon, Sewers at either Fl30 or 45 I forgot exactly which, Lich Dungeon at 30, Church Dungeon at 15, and there's a second Root at Crystal/Lizard dungeon at 30
There's one for each dungeon BUT the cardboard one I believe, just keep going down the floors and explore any in the multiplicative of 5 (i.e. 15, 20, etc)
Most of them you have to defeat them in combat to unlock them
Giant rat (got to defeat the giant rat in the sewer to unlock)
Lime Slime ( got to find a lime slime in the cave east of town and give them a potion and they can be found outside once you leave, will be the only friendly one in the cave but randomly spawns
Barrel Master: Tip over the big barrel by the gate
Chimera: Found down by the docks
Raving Fan: Defeat their former boss (can easily be found when looking for the left arm)
From what I got, it happens because an Object misses a proper name. In this case, I'll dare say it's because the game can't handle more than the save0 file at once.
I think you should try to run "C:\Users\Owner 1\Downloads\growth-rpg-free64\WindowsNoEditor\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us\UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe" first and then retry the normal exe.
Do not open the 'GrowthRPG.exe' that's inside the win64 folder within the game directory... Use the one that's in the main directory. Basically don't go into any folder but the 'WindowsNoEditor'.
So you are trying to run the 'GrowthRPG.exe' in the main folder? Your picture above leads me to believe you're opening one further in and that may be causing problems. Funny enough opening the one further in still works for me.
If this still doesn't work delete the entire growth rpg folder and download a new one. Extract the zip into a new folder and try running from there. I wonder if it's because you are missing files or have too many.
From what I could gather (if you're still having the issue, that is), is that this error message is caused by either file corruption or antivirus interference (mainly downloaded ones like Norton, Avast, etc.)
Could you please check for me that the folder the game is located on is listed as "trusted" in whatever antivirus software you use? Try redownloading the game to a trusted folder if the previous tip did not work.

For the bounties you'll randomly find them in the dungeons. I think I only found them in the dungeon behind the wall that's in the front of the town. I've found the 100 or 200 demi coins you get it's not really worth it but if you're doing the dungeon anyway it won't hurt.
For the recipes you're supposed to be able to buy or bring back food to the main chef. It didn't work for me in v4.4 but seems to work in v4.6. There's a bunch of food stands in the overworld. Such as behind the wall, there's steak for a 50 muscle boost, or the grilled salmon down at the dock for a 50 bust boost.
I have not found more quests than the original ones given. To kill the lich, find the blacksmith key and the blacksmith, and find the arms for the inventor. There are side quests such as bringing juicy peaches to Charlotte, bring potions to the new slime, giving your consumed essences to Lulu, and potentially figuring out whatever is wrong with the tree out front.
Shouldn't be... perhaps you're not getting enough exp to level him up? Or you need to reset and adjust his stat points, just don't leave any on the table or it kinda bugs out and you lose them. If you need to you can give your followers the essences and that becomes permanent just like it does to your avatar. I didn't have problems with him in v4.5 or lower except a couple bugs here and there, but he's like level 800 on my current playthrough and had him at like 1000 back in v3.9
With the 4.6 release I was able to play a little more than one hour without any crash (using the crash fix option). However it crashed trying to fight the Barrel Master.
After the reboot all my stats are... floats values!? - Pecs 128.747 - Legs 80.308 ...
And now I can add attributes point to them but I can no longer remove them one by one. Must close the menu and re-open it to reset the temporary attribution.
Was it because I have a fat buff (or size, can't remember) from the merchant?
Edit: Seem the floating point values and the point (un)attribution issues are only caused by the fruit buff.

I doubt this game will ever get a mobile version in any form or even console. This sort of fetish is not nearly popular enough for digi to put that much effort into such a project, keep in mind also it's just him working on it.
Played for a few days already (on the Free Demo version) and yet I had to download the game a second time because of an Assertion error that goes like so :
"Assertion failed: GetFName() == NAME_None [File:D:/Build/++UE4/Sync/Engine/Source/Runtime/CoreUObject/Private/UObject/UObjectBase.cpp] [Line: 130]" - Copied from a Reddit Thread after searching for a way to correct the error without having to lose my files again.
As I understood it, it pops ups and crashes the game because an Object or Character hasn't been properly named. Should reread your code and check where the problem is, if the Patreon's version didn't already resolved the problem. By the way, is it normal to find a sprite-less Strange Fruit in the Sewer Dungeon ? 'Cause I did and the error popped up a few minutes after selling it to a shop.
After seeing consecutive crashes due to the same error after creating a new save, I suppose that the main reason for those crashes is due to the way the save files are named. And managed.
Sadly, that error automatically pops up whenever you have more than the save0 file.
If you want to keep your save files, you could always rename them however you want. The game can only "play" save[N].sav files, though, so you'll need to replace the save0.sav file if you want to play another character.
Thing is, I only had the one save and the error still kept popping up. But the dev says it might be fixed in 4.7 and only pops up in the overworld outside of town.
1. The loading screen is weird. Fisrt I see is basic black loading screen with a tip and that circle of dots that should be spinning but never actually does, then there's a first frame of the first spawn point (even if I ain't there and never been during a session), then is returns back to the same black screen with the same tip (the dot circle is still frozen). Usually it happens when you move to another location and at battles in overworld.
2. Btw, about battles. seems like the game unloads the map and loads an arena and vise versa each time you have a battle, instead of having it preloaded somewhere underneathe and teleporting the plaer and enemies there.
3. There's a strange sequense that make me more confident about the previous issue, After every battle I see how every enemy get rendered then their accesories get rendered and only after that the defeated enemy despawns. Game should despawn the enemy fisrt and then render everyone else. There's no reason to render it after defeat if it's getting despawn after that.
Also, I can't find where to change the color of the chest fluff, but it is not so important.
There is a battle arena that you get moved to. It's sometimes visible in the distance while going through dungeons. In fact, one old bug was that random dungeon generation would sometimes create walls inside the battle arena.
Does anyone know the list of commands, I'm kind of curious to try the "summon" command, and create a new game to test that haha, but I don't know if anyone knows the list of that command
When I tried the "help" command it got drowned in the unstopping flux of " Target enemies X.X.X.X" that kept showing up. So, I guess it's not a working feature yet.

How common are crashes in the patreon version and how many dungeons are ready?
As far as I know the current playable dungeons are :
-Sewer Dungeon.
-Slime Cave Dungeon.
-Castle Ruins Dungeon.
-Crystal Cave Dungeon.
-Cardboard Set Dungeon.
That's all I have for now.

Its way more stable in 4.8, but will still occasionally happens. I think I figured out what is causing it though, hopefully it should be gone in 4.9

Yep, also you have to remove the save files that are from anything besides Save0, cause Saveslot 1 and 2 will cause crashes.
Also add onto the fact, your on version 4.5, and your trying to play 4.4 versions of the game that might be causing your major issues.

correction it was taking an absolute unit of time to load no problem
I've noticed that the head not growing with the rest of you has been a prevailing bug for several updates. Is it THAT tough a bug to squash?

You know you can still sacrifice used stat points after learning all of the skills, right? That feature exists for a reason.
It doesn't change the fact that stats like height quickly get out of hand.
Also, the sacrifice feature doesn't look too good when you realize that you're still above level 100 even without any stat points left.
Lulu can take the essences off you, but your followers, less so.
So, question:
I know there's a leg armor that increases leg growth, arm cape that increases muscle, and sword that increases size.
Is there a chest item that increases bust growth, and a torso item that increases fat?
There is a wand to increase bust.

Check your Inventory. There should be ladder Items in there.

Kill the Lich boss once while on the quest and go talk to the alchemist, she'll sell ego potions then.

Concerning the Raving Fan. I think it's important to point out that the more you beat their boss, the bigger their boss becomes.

Yup. As far as I get it, it crashes shortly after charging or saving a save file when there's more than one.

For the bounties you'll randomly find them in the dungeons. I think I only found them in the dungeon behind the wall that's in the front of the town. I've found the 100 or 200 demi coins you get it's not really worth it but if you're doing the dungeon anyway it won't hurt.

how do I find recipes for the chef? Are there any more quests beside the are for the marchant, blacksmith and apothecary?
For the recipes you're supposed to be able to buy or bring back food to the main chef. It didn't work for me in v4.4 but seems to work in v4.6. There's a bunch of food stands in the overworld. Such as behind the wall, there's steak for a 50 muscle boost, or the grilled salmon down at the dock for a 50 bust boost.
I have not found more quests than the original ones given. To kill the lich, find the blacksmith key and the blacksmith, and find the arms for the inventor. There are side quests such as bringing juicy peaches to Charlotte, bring potions to the new slime, giving your consumed essences to Lulu, and potentially figuring out whatever is wrong with the tree out front.
So my raving fan follower isn't growing past like 320 size am I missing something?
Shouldn't be... perhaps you're not getting enough exp to level him up? Or you need to reset and adjust his stat points, just don't leave any on the table or it kinda bugs out and you lose them. If you need to you can give your followers the essences and that becomes permanent just like it does to your avatar. I didn't have problems with him in v4.5 or lower except a couple bugs here and there, but he's like level 800 on my current playthrough and had him at like 1000 back in v3.9

So i wasn't blind just dumb.
With the 4.6 release I was able to play a little more than one hour without any crash (using the crash fix option). However it crashed trying to fight the Barrel Master.
After the reboot all my stats are... floats values!?
- Pecs 128.747
- Legs 80.308
...
And now I can add attributes point to them but I can no longer remove them one by one. Must close the menu and re-open it to reset the temporary attribution.
Was it because I have a fat buff (or size, can't remember) from the merchant?
Edit: Seem the floating point values and the point (un)attribution issues are only caused by the fruit buff.

I doubt this game will ever get a mobile version in any form or even console. This sort of fetish is not nearly popular enough for digi to put that much effort into such a project, keep in mind also it's just him working on it.

Played for a few days already (on the Free Demo version) and yet I had to download the game a second time because of an Assertion error that goes like so :
"Assertion failed: GetFName() == NAME_None [File:D:/Build/++UE4/Sync/Engine/Source/Runtime/CoreUObject/Private/UObject/UObjectBase.cpp] [Line: 130]" - Copied from a Reddit Thread after searching for a way to correct the error without having to lose my files again.
As I understood it, it pops ups and crashes the game because an Object or Character hasn't been properly named. Should reread your code and check where the problem is, if the Patreon's version didn't already resolved the problem. By the way, is it normal to find a sprite-less Strange Fruit in the Sewer Dungeon ? 'Cause I did and the error popped up a few minutes after selling it to a shop.
After seeing consecutive crashes due to the same error after creating a new save, I suppose that the main reason for those crashes is due to the way the save files are named. And managed.
I am having a similar issue, any time I leave town I get the same error.

Sadly, that error automatically pops up whenever you have more than the save0 file.
If you want to keep your save files, you could always rename them however you want. The game can only "play" save[N].sav files, though, so you'll need to replace the save0.sav file if you want to play another character.
Thing is, I only had the one save and the error still kept popping up. But the dev says it might be fixed in 4.7 and only pops up in the overworld outside of town.
The game really lacks optimisation.
1. The loading screen is weird. Fisrt I see is basic black loading screen with a tip and that circle of dots that should be spinning but never actually does, then there's a first frame of the first spawn point (even if I ain't there and never been during a session), then is returns back to the same black screen with the same tip (the dot circle is still frozen). Usually it happens when you move to another location and at battles in overworld.
2. Btw, about battles. seems like the game unloads the map and loads an arena and vise versa each time you have a battle, instead of having it preloaded somewhere underneathe and teleporting the plaer and enemies there.
3. There's a strange sequense that make me more confident about the previous issue, After every battle I see how every enemy get rendered then their accesories get rendered and only after that the defeated enemy despawns. Game should despawn the enemy fisrt and then render everyone else. There's no reason to render it after defeat if it's getting despawn after that.
Also, I can't find where to change the color of the chest fluff, but it is not so important.
You can change the Chest Fluff's color in the Chest section of the Character's creation. Just select "Bodyhair" and change the color.
Results aren't that good though.
There is a battle arena that you get moved to. It's sometimes visible in the distance while going through dungeons. In fact, one old bug was that random dungeon generation would sometimes create walls inside the battle arena.

When I tried the "help" command it got drowned in the unstopping flux of " Target enemies X.X.X.X" that kept showing up. So, I guess it's not a working feature yet.

Accidentally stumbled across, and then also just used some logic in case of herbicide that item will coincide with name in the game or whatever

I haven't been able to change my character's chest at all for some reason, it stays on breasts no matter what, I would like to switch to pecs...
I think it's due to your game's settings... Did you uncheck the "Pecs" checkbox in your preferences ? Both for the game and your save ?
Will we get a sandbox mode? I'd love to be able to just mess around with all the numbers
