Just a quick question. You know how when you win a fight against a character and they grow, but shrink down back normal once you lose. Is there special occasions where they keep the size forever

You have to beat the final boss (in the final dungeon past the tunnel at the beach). After that, debug mode is unlocked for that save file
Go to the bamboo dungeon and do like seven floors and beat the final boss and you'll unlock debug mode. It's literally across the map.

It's in the first section of the forest off to the right before you head to the Docks.
