i'm not too sure, but i don't think the grow after every defeat passive works. cause upon defeating multiple enemies larger than me, i still don't grow any larger
This Game is Amazing, some constructive criticism for the dev though.
1 the buff skill intensity is a hugely busted skill. Pun intended. it easily gives enemies that use it a huge advantage against you early on, as they can grow far faster. And it is game breaking. the enemies easily have over 3000 buffs of all five types before you even have a chance to do anything.
2. the armor mechanic love the idea, but I have noticed that I am not leveling the fat stat because anymore and I break almost all my armor. maybe have the threshold for breakage increase by 20 a level instead? just an idea.
3. the concentration skill having multiple levels for use is a great idea that maybe should be used for other skill, the first level is 1 extra ap, I'd probably have it be at least two at first level so it's a little more worthwhile to use. also a glitch happens when multiple growth buffs affect you at the same time, it break all the future buffs. additionally it causes you to get those buffs when you leave the fight. another glitch happened where when I had a fight and instantly hit another fight it caused all the enemies to sink into the floor, only reason. I know is I saw their heads poking out of the ground.
Sorry for the word soup. just love what you've created and wanted to see you do well.
Thought I'd mention that Intensify, while very good at producing hilariously oversized opponents, is actually a skill that cranks up the values on any buffs both you and your opponent have. Thus, if you give yourself a buff right at the start of the fight (might I suggest putting ranks into the Jumpstart skill in the bust tree, it's very useful), then even if you encounter an opponent who spams intensify, they're basically doing you a favor.
I will admit that armor, proper block-providing armor that isn't either the weighted set or the leather leggings, is hard to use after you level any respectable amount. But that's kind of the point, I think: you start out super squishy and thus need all the help you can get with just surviving fights, which armor does for you. But once you get bigger, you rely much more on buffs and modifiers than armor to win fights, since 30 extra block from a maxed-out armor piece can be removed rather quickly by... well, most opponents honestly.
Lastly, yea starting a fight while there's a second potential opponent right next to the person you're fighting can break things pretty easy. I once had an issue where I got put into a second fight immediately after exiting the first one, and upon winning that one, was unable to walk, move the camera, interact with anything, or do anything at all besides open the menu to quit the game. Not any of the levelling or inventory menus, just the one that pops up when you hit escape. Watch out for that.
yeah intensity is funny, however the problem for me at least is the growth scaling overall, the player character can only get 5-20 points to start with from a buff meanwhile enemies from the well get 20 points at a minimum. this makes intensity far harder to deal with because at similar level with the same abilities you just get left in the dust. not to mention that the enemies have a significant jump in difficulty from the ego gain bets, I understand why and it's a cool mechanic, but it may need a Bit of refinement. because the jump from normal to the first ego bet is almost negligible, meanwhile the jump to the second ego bet is far too high unless you are twice the level with the acid status affect(which has been a lifesaver)… that's my main problem with this...
and as for armor yeah I can see why after a point you rely on buffs instead, however at near level 150 I still haven't hit that point where the armor isn't as worthwhile. plus with the enemies being as fast as they are and the player character being so slow(at least in combat) it feels impossible to do anything. the biggest thing is when enemies get bigger so do the attacks but with how size scaling is, the attacks are most of the time impossible to dodge.
also the more frequently encountered glitch for me is that when a growth buff happens during a growth, the growth no longer works during the fight. after the fight the growth you should have gotten is there, causing a Huge Lag spike
another weird bug was that the poison shop quests broke in such a way where the previous potion was the one where the results where being talked about. (admittedly I wasn't paying full attention for the first quest, so I'm not sure how it fits in) I can't even turn in the third quest at all either.
Aight, so take this with a grain of salt, since I dunno if you're playing with active combat on, which in my opinion is way harder than passive, which is what I play on since I don't have a mouse and it makes things simpler.
Weaponry in this game scales hard with whatever stats affect them, but they are not made equal. Notably, the ranking (D, C, B, A, or S) determines how much damage you get from a weapon if you have a lot of points in the corresponding stat. Furthermore, not all stats are made equal. Bust, as a prime example, gives you tons of AP to play with, and lets you hit enemies with the wrath of god after using massive buffs and potentially even stealing growth from your enemies... but if you get hit, which is likely since bust doesn't make you fast, you get flattened at an impressive pace. On the flipside, legs builds let you go first and take twice as many turns as your opponent, along with dodging attacks, but if for whatever reason your opponent can debuff you, withstand your attacks, or is just plain too big, you get squashed. (Thankfully the Bard's Beak weapon from the blacksmith deals unholy amounts of damage and has an attack that seems to ignore armor, and starts at B-rank scaling I think? It's a lil insane.) With all that said, if you're finding enemies to be inordinately difficult, try switching up your loadout. I'm currently at 50 in every stat except for legs, which I cranked to 300, but I can take down the boss rats in the sewer up to floor 25, and those things are huge.
Also, I highly recommend unlocking as many things in the ability trees as you can, as soon as you can. The bust tree in particular has some crazy boosts, and I've heard that the Step skill from the size tree can win fights like nothin else if you're running a size build.
I can beat the giant rats in sewers at level thirty, my loadout is decent and I'm improving it with time, I've figured out how important the stats and how you allocate them are. I've got concentration level two and am focusing on leveling for tier 2, and 3 skills while unlocking tier 1 skills, the Big growing problem for me(pun intended) is that I'm instantly getting steam rolled by choosing the bring it Tiny ego option, meanwhile the You'll have to fight me first option doesn't seems to make any difference for difficulty. also the corrosion affect is amazing. but it doesn't effect enemies that are already very big. I do Appreciate you taking the time to reply like this. I've read the notice board, looked at the skills, and figured out how I want to focus my character. it is just a little frustrating when the Experience multiplier gets lost because I forget I can't handle the biggest ego bet, primarily because of one skill and enemy scaling. I keep going back and forth not really progressing and yet progressing further than I thought I would.
My save got a weird bug. All my buff growth modifiers turned to 0.0x, and i cant use any buffs. The dank potion works for some reason but anything else gets nullified. Any potential fixes for this?
Had a similar issue with repeated crashes, pretty sure it was that exact error message as well every time, tried inputting that command and went on a dungeon run in the facade zone. Went pretty well for about three floors before I crashed, but the message just said "Fatal error!" and nothin else. So... it's different errors I guess? Notably it crashed right as I was landing an attack in combat so maybe it was just unlucky.
Update, I DID manage to recreate the FATAL ERROR crash the other commenter made.
This was AFTER putting in the command you suggested and saving. I put it in again on a new load and crashed in a dungeon. I reloaded but this time did not put the command in and was able to play uninterrupted for several hours.
Aye, question: when I transfer old saves to a new version, i.e. 6.2 to 6.3, I just copy-paste the saves folder from the old version into the new one, which does transfer the saves, but even though I'm opening the 6.3 version, the saves are listed as still being in 6.2, and I'm unsure if they actually run on 6.3. Is there any way to force them to update or transfer versions or something?
my pc died a while ago and I haven’t checked up on this game since, and honestly I loved it, so once I either get my pc working again or I get one to run it better, I look forward to seeing what’s new, your doing a outstanding job on this by the way!
Go to the Facade dungeon and go to the other side of the lake. When you see a big patch of pink flowers. The bee is waiting there. There's also a Save point/warp, it's called flower fields.
Oh, and if you could tell me what the honey does to the bee. I want to know. I tried it and it didn't seem like it did anything. Granted I only had one or two honey.
Thanks! And for your question, it's like with charlotte and her peaches, although with no growing animations and with all her body instead of just her boobs.
Oh, so that's what it does. Thanks. I'm Going to have to experiment with that more. But I'm going to need more honey.
OH, and just because you brought up the peaches. There's a giant tree where there's like 8 or 10 Peaches that spawn every time you go back to the world. You can make Charlotte huge with those.
I wouldn't do this too much. Seeing that it's the same problem with Beast. they'll get too big and take over the Town.
PS. They have no growing animation? No wonder I couldn't tell what was going on. Maybe they'll add that in the next update.
If u want to see her growth animation, there is a way (by using some cheat) to make her your companion then u can adjust her attributes and level her up
Wait, really? Does it use the ingame debug mode somehow? I've always wanted some of the bounty targets to be recruitable... Wondering how you can pull this off.
I have a question the game current version i can't play it because it try's to load in everything including the mountain or the rock wall in the distance it can in a given general area so.
My question is this is it generally allowed for people to edit a games code or mesh layout to make it playable on low end pc or laptop or is that generally frown a pond?
It looks like at some point the thing spawning it lost the requirement to check against. Should be fixed in 6.4b and hopefully I'll be able to switch over to a system that doesn't have this problem. Because the same thing happened with the sword in the stone.
Is this ever going to be released to steam for free and with a supporters package to purchase? The supporter pack having a bunch of unpgrading resources and decorational hats.
yay! more stuff to growth RPG and according to the Patreon one, in next update we might be getting, Final dungeon and New merchants/bosses to the dungeons
So I'm definitely looking forward to that one for the free version.
I found the bumblebee. It's in the field near the giant lake. Near the Facade dungeon and jars of honey are random drops.
Healed 10HP or 25 health adds slimed status. Don't know what it does to the bee yet.
You need a Dungeon key. You can get them by buying it from the Dungeon Master found on the paper looking Dungeon (forgot the name) but mostly found at the ruins Dungeon.
*key master. and while they can appear in the ruins dungeon, loveloo also references the facade dungeon which is also correct. you can also get dungeon keys as random drops from combat.
Going to try the free version like a demo, thanks for that. Also I'd like to see the update come through, cause we're a bit past your stated update day "The last Saturday of every month" and we're well into September now. with both updates being over 30+ days ago.
I'm having a problem, when I finished Beth's quest, when I went back to her farm, the roots came back and I couldn't grow any crops because the Root Master was already killed in my previous quest. Is there a way to fix this? I'm on version 0.6.2.
Kill the root master doesnt mean its over, the other roots dont deseapaer after that, you need to kill every single one of them, I guess the total is around 5
I'm also having an issue with this I finished the entire quest (accidentally killed some of the roots early before getting the weed killer) and even planted some seeds, then when I went back to the farm to check on progress of the seeds it was back to being covered in the vines
there are no roots for me to kill, Beth is asking me to save her husband, but he is also in the starting town but also still does the dialogue I would get if I found him for the first time
If I get him to follow me and then bring him to the exit of the farm / vines area he'll give me the "thanks for saving me" dialogue but he won't stop following me automatically and beth will still be asking me to save her husband
Found a dupe glitch. First, you have to go to your inventory, then click any of your teammates, and change to their inventory. After that you open up the item transfer menu, and then press right click to add multiple. somehow the items don't transfer like that, and just duplicate, you can do that with no limit whatsoever, kind of overpowered, and broken at the same time.
Well Digitalfurbelow said "should" it isnt certain, but this update is indeed longer then expected and the fact that they dont give a shit to non patrons makes it even harder to deal with
anyone else think it’d be nice if there was a gauntlet or similar weapon? There’s such a wide range of weapons, so it’s kind of surprising there isn’t one.

Try using the console command "gc.CollectGarbageEveryFrame 1"
It worked, thanks!
Do I have to use it everytime I play or just once?
every time, I'll probably add this as an option in settings in 6.5
Doe's anyone know where is mad chimera for recruting her after you beat her? I can't find her!
i'm not too sure, but i don't think the grow after every defeat passive works. cause upon defeating multiple enemies larger than me, i still don't grow any larger
She should be around the dockyard near the entrance
Found a crash after clearing the farm. I ran into a Bigbarian right after I planted seeds and got this crash.

Its a error, There is no solution, I advise you to create a new game
Dang thats too bad. Alright then thx
I'm starting to get this crash
Assertion failed: GetFName() == NAME_None [File:D:/Build/++UE4/Sync/Engine/Source/Runtime/CoreUObject/Private/UObject/UObjectBase.cpp] [Line: 130]
Try using the console command "gc.CollectGarbageEveryFrame 1" and tell me if that helps
I have no idea what causes the fatal error, 130 I know is something related to garbage collection.
So far that's working.
Thanks, Digi, I'll reply again if there's any other issues.
You just copy and paste the save, the original version of the save will appear in the game, it's normal
Free says Version 64
idk if thats correct
my pc died a while ago and I haven’t checked up on this game since, and honestly I loved it, so once I either get my pc working again or I get one to run it better, I look forward to seeing what’s new, your doing a outstanding job on this by the way!
Thanks
Does anybody know where the new bee NPC is? I've got loads of honey and no where to spend it.
If u want to see her growth animation, there is a way (by using some cheat) to make her your companion then u can adjust her attributes and level her up
I appreciate the thought but I'm not really into using cheat unless they're in the game.
Say the trick pls
Wait, really? Does it use the ingame debug mode somehow?
I've always wanted some of the bounty targets to be recruitable... Wondering how you can pull this off.
Woah! The update actually appeared on my Itch feed. Nice!
I have a question the game current version i can't play it because it try's to load in everything including the mountain or the rock wall in the distance it can in a given general area so.
My question is this is it generally allowed for people to edit a games code or mesh layout to make it playable on low end pc or laptop or is that generally frown a pond?
Is there any possibility of bringing the game to mobile devices?
Mmmm nop, But I saw a video where the growth rpg is shown but on mobile, you need an iPhone

I just hope your okay Digitalfurbelow ,
Does anybody know where the urn salesman spawns on the map. I cant find him.
In the spawn
It looks like at some point the thing spawning it lost the requirement to check against. Should be fixed in 6.4b and hopefully I'll be able to switch over to a system that doesn't have this problem. Because the same thing happened with the sword in the stone.
Really like the visual design of the final dungeon.
This update must be huge if it is taking 5 extra days.
wdym by that
That picture is me wondering if the update will ever come lol.
its out :P
can you make a mobile version pls
A mobile can't run this game sadly
fuck
Question: how to open chests with golden ribs?
You need a Dungeon key. You can get them by buying it from the Dungeon Master found on the paper looking Dungeon (forgot the name) but mostly found at the ruins Dungeon.
Castle Ruins dungeon
*key master. and while they can appear in the ruins dungeon, loveloo also references the facade dungeon which is also correct. you can also get dungeon keys as random drops from combat.

Going to try the free version like a demo, thanks for that. Also I'd like to see the update come through, cause we're a bit past your stated update day "The last Saturday of every month" and we're well into September now. with both updates being over 30+ days ago.
It's out now, there was a delay for some final touches :
Something that I noticed is that the fight arenas only scale with your size now, compared to a few versions ago where it also put context enemy's size

I hope digitalfurbelow doesn't get angry, I dont have bad intentions
Man how much more do we have to wait? 1 day, 1 week, 50 years? 😐
2 working days , I dont know if Digitalfurbelow works at saturday but I doubt they work at sundays, so it will be either later today or tomorow
But I wouldnt take it as certain since they said "should"😐
My character got turned into a slime. How do I turn it back to normal?
In the city talk to the potion seller, she will give you an potion to bring you back to normal
Thanks
I'm having a problem, when I finished Beth's quest, when I went back to her farm, the roots came back and I couldn't grow any crops because the Root Master was already killed in my previous quest. Is there a way to fix this? I'm on version 0.6.2.
Kill the root master doesnt mean its over, the other roots dont deseapaer after that, you need to kill every single one of them, I guess the total is around 5
I'm also having an issue with this
I finished the entire quest (accidentally killed some of the roots early before getting the weed killer) and even planted some seeds, then when I went back to the farm to check on progress of the seeds it was back to being covered in the vines
there are no roots for me to kill, Beth is asking me to save her husband, but he is also in the starting town but also still does the dialogue I would get if I found him for the first time
If I get him to follow me and then bring him to the exit of the farm / vines area he'll give me the "thanks for saving me" dialogue but he won't stop following me automatically and beth will still be asking me to save her husband
Oh, its work
Yeah, honestly you can basically do anything with that.
this dupe is probably ten versions old, it seems like dev doesn’t want to fix it
Is there a list of old versions of the game? So that you can download for example 5.8
If you go under Manage files, you can see Switch to Another Version if you are on the Itch.io app.
when will the update be available?
That is a great question with little to no answers right now
Unless Im missing something it should be tomorow since it will be the last saturday of this month
Correction it seems like the update will be delayed , digitalfurbellow said 2 more working days should be enough
Well It has been twice that long now, The tension is killing me
Well Digitalfurbelow said "should" it isnt certain, but this update is indeed longer then expected and the fact that they dont give a shit to non patrons makes it even harder to deal with
My guess is in a year right now ಠ_ಠ
I have a black screen on mine. Do you know how to fix that?
Re install the game
hey mythiccal, what are the seeds used for?
When you unlock the farm you can plant the seeds there and get especial items, you must defeat the roots, for that you need a herbicide
anyone else think it’d be nice if there was a gauntlet or similar weapon? There’s such a wide range of weapons, so it’s kind of surprising there isn’t one.
A gauntlet wouldn't be bad
Another character i made, Here we have Tina the shark girl on her... mostly natural habitat, Looking out for movement on the shore...
Dont worry, Tina here isnt the agressive kind. in fact, she wouldnt mind some company ;)
Here's her code!

how do i turn on debug btw, i beated the final boss. does debug in meaning of debug menu ?
In the menu of settings
Aureus doesn't follow me even though I've already given him the required amount of money, has anyone had the same problem?
Its a bug
Is there any way to solve it? He's one of my favorites as a companion
Yeah he is the only companion that can get ego/cock size without the use of ego potions
Oh, no exist a solution, Sorry :(
