I haven't played much of v4.5 yet, but after taking advice from another comment it's basically stopped my crashing all together from v4.4. If you have multiple saves, remove them from the folder or delete them. Once using a single save (save0.sav) you should not crash as much. In my case it was an assertion failed in line 130.
From the looks of things you haven't sacrificed any stats. As you sacrifice size you unlock the skill tiers, with the amount needed for the tier shown next to the yellow line. Keep in mind that while you are sacrificing your size, thus making yourself weaker, it also takes equivalent exp and levels you down so you can get it back without too much trouble, especially at lower levels. You look to be decently far in but my personal strategy is to get a follower or two, sacrifice all size, find a dungeon you feel like running through for a while, and grow and sacrifice after every fight. Anyways, to reiterate that answer to your question, you should just need to sacrifice. One last tip as well, if you ever want to grind sp just do what I said above with size specifically. You get sp real quick.
Anyone know how to fix this error or bug? Im stuck on my ego growth animation and I found that the slider was stuck at 0. I put it to my preferred setting and every time I apply it it reverts back to 0.
some texture seems missing now and they look just black in the 4.5a for example the shirts the girls wearing, some carts, and bandanas so far those are the issues
They're black for me too with my old save. Upon starting a new one native to v4.5 they were normal. I did notice there is a new clothing color picker in the character options. It is set to all black, perhaps that's part of the problem with an old save versus a new save.
The lime slime is now a follower and you can recruit them from the lich dungeon. Befriend them by giving them a growth potion in the dungeon and they'll meet you outside.
I only found a green slime asking me for potion. Others will attack me.

No, very difficult. Perhaps you could look at what happens when you grow normally, and input the same command... but it's far easier to take a value, like Level, a certain Stat, or the number of a certain essence in your inventory, and make that value a unique number. Then, go to a save editor (saveeditonline), search for that variable's exact value, and change it to what you want it to be. It works for followers in 4.5 and below, when you can freely check their stats, but it's much more difficult in 4.6.
EXP is also a value that can be changed to make them grow, though.

You don't. It seems somewhat bugged out and you either need to be a higher level or you need muscle to be 100+ (not an exact science). Spoiler: it's a blunt weapon scaling with muscle as "B".
On top of what wumbojombo said, it also affects your "confidence" meaning if you buy "Bigger challenge" in the total category it should make enemies stronger during the fight. Beware, losing a fight makes you lose your ego!

So if you have any abilities or points store those will vanish (unless that's been fixed, so be sure to save prior). Also, it does not remove the permanent skill orbs that you use.

This happened to me recently and the best way i found to fix it is these step Make sure you havent deleted the folder with your save data first 1. Go in the main folders GrowthRPG Folder 2. Open Save then Go into Saved games 3. Make sure you copy the Save0 File 4. Delete that folder then extract the game again 5. Open the game make a new save on the empty file you'll get when you first start 6. Close the game 7. Copy your Save0 File over the New Save0 File If you did everything right it should open the game with your save file Im not sure if this is how everyone transferred saves before but i do know that this primitive thing is caused by something in the settings I hope this helped

The best way to grind xp is to get the sword that Bunshido has and grind xp from the bandit boss but make sure you have enough size sourced from essence and spend all of your growth from leveling because if you are level one you get more than 100 levels each fight to use to unlock abilities. You also get a ton of skill points from the fight. Also I recommend getting the Mad Chimera follower because she is op
After reading the update, I wanted to look for companions in the Lich's dungeon, but I can't go down below the first floor! there's just no door further! please help me, maybe I don't understand something?
The lich dungeon is specifically just the lich. Once you kill her you can get your reward of turning into a slime, the lich's weapons(I don't have them so maybe not in v4.4 anymore), and from the apothecarist in town.
This is a bug I get in combat from time to time. It's not always the same enemy/opponent, but it is a enemy in the field, compared to an enemy in a dungeon.
ok now whole port is broken containers you can go into them like litteraly those are ghost containers impossible to get key from a guard cause of the new stupid drop system please fix WHOLE port its now fucked
I can confirm, the port is broken in v4.4. However, you can still jump the main gate. Also, stat wise you need 60 legs to jump 1 container, 120 legs to jump 2 containers, and 200 fat to walk through the wind, and up to 200 muscle to move the barges. So if you want to play the port how it's intended thats what you need.

And there is a question: where can I get the plague mask and leather armor on the legs, which disappeared after the save was broken. And the last thing, why do I have such a pixel game? I put all the settings to the maximum, but it still gives out pixels

Hey yo, where's the giant rat in 4.5? none of the sewer boss areas are appearing and I can't get the key for the blacksmith
It's a bug. There is not any sewer boss in 4.5.
You can press '~' key and input 'GHOST' to walk through the door and then input 'WALK' to get normal to talk with the blacksmith.

To my knowledge that area is still under construction and offers nothing other than the stat reset at the moment.

Unsure, I think I've only had that error once. You could try a fresh download and input your save into it and see if that helps.

Yup, it was broken.
I don't like that in the ability you need to spend your growth on it and it's so hard to gain experience for growth.

im getting same error (line 130) and now i cant do anything without it kicking me out
now its impossible to get a key from the guard right next to port
